The Field Layout module allows you with quick and easy “drag and drop” operations to rapidly create new or replicate existing field layouts. Connecting assets are as simple as drawing lines/splines between asset/structure connection points and designating the connection type.
The layouts can be as simple or as advanced as your imagination allows. The sub-project “Clone” feature allows you to quickly create multiple field design options for layout comparisons or “What-if” analytics. Assets can be accurately placed using lat, long coordinates for the field, and you can also set the asset rotation in degrees. If Bathymetry data is loaded for the project, all connection lenghts will be calculated and disaplayed in real time.
Assets will typically be design elements that depict subsea installation structures or other operational equipment such as “Manifolds”, “Templates”, “FPSOs” etc. At the moment “Field Activity Planner” comes with a generic library of the most commonly used structures and vessels.
All Assets are smart. They contain metadata that includes engineering specifications, costing details or links to your backend Enterprise systems. As you add assets to you field layout, the project specifications will update immediately to reflect the metadata values stored in the asset. A Private Asset library feature allows you to digitize and add your own subsea or topside engineering assets in the solution for detailed field layouts.

Connecting assets are as simple as drawing lines that represent connectors, umbilicals and pipes between connection points.
Once assets are connected they are automatically associated with each other so changes are reflected in both the assets and it’s connected resources.
Entire sections of your layout can be selected, moved in bulk or copied to other parts of the field.
Users can instantly switch between 2D and 3D views and move assets around in either mode.
Open the Projects dashboard and you will immediately see all projects belonging to your company account that you have permission to access.
The Projects are displayed as a list, but with Project Cards for the four (4) most recent projects that have been worked on at the top. Project folders can also be created for better management where you have a large number of individual projects. Project Administrators can set project values, settings and assign specific assets and attributes at a project level. Users can be invited to a specific project, but access to certain sensitive data (such as costing, well data etc.) can be disabled based on user permissions.
Field Activity Planner spans the entire process of offshore and subsea installations, as well as marine operations – from planning and feasibility to preparation and actual operations. It gives users a simplified view of activities being carried out offshore, together with the status of vessels, rigs and installations. This is done by the Activity Module.
This module supports Gannt chart entries and also has “visual” timeline support with “Play”, “Pause” and “Scrubber” support for granular time control and easy “What-If” scenario planning. The Gannt chart supports critical path, task dependencies, zoomable timeline, easy drag-and-drop task ordering, and much more. You can also link task to activities that can be animated such as vessel operations for a complete visualization of field operations. The asset editor allows you to visually Edit/ Add / Remove connection points and quickly define the connector types. You can also add equipment/asset properties in the form of meta-data to allow you to quickly make equipment/asset configurations such as connection systems, dimensions, material etc. If the meta-data has cost attached to the various equipment configuration options then this cost entry will show up in the accumulated cost overview provided in The Cost Module. The same applies for all connections.
With the Cost Module you simply click on the “Cost Equipment” or “Cost Operations” tab next to the “Activities” tab to see the Cost overview. As you design a new field layout these tabs will automatically be itemized and summarized into the following subgroups; “Operations”, “SPS”, “SPP”, “Piping and Infrastructure”, and “Umbilicals”.
The Values you have put in the cost input in The Meta-data editor, The Asset Editor and Activities will show up here. You can also input all the cost data directly in the spreadsheet in this module. You can export the cost data for your project out to a Microsoft Excel file for further editing by clicking on the “Export” button located in the topmost right corner for both the tabs.
The solution offers a realtime 3D Visualization of your field layout directly in your web browser. You can freely move the camera around for your best viewing angle and also switch between subsea and topside. The animations you set up in The Activity module will also be played out in Realtime 3D Mode. You can also at any time export out an image from your 2D or 3D view that you can use in emails, presentations etc. when communicating with others.
You can freely move/ rotate any asset or connection in 3d mode as well as in 2D mode. With the Layer module you can quickly add shelf maps, or seismic imagery. In addition you can set the transparency of the sea and all other imagery.
Field activity planner also supports 3D Bathymetry or survey data for display in real-time. Upload your 3D seabed bathymetry/survey data in the project settings. Our Bathymetry cluster processing service will convert the data and add it to your secure project account.
In the Layer module you can add additional 3D data such as a 3D reservoir visualization, and control its’ positioning and transparency. With the Well Module you can add the well trajectory data and they will be automatically positioned within the bathymetry data.
With bathymetry data loaded all connections such as piping, umbilicals etc. will be height sampled for accurate positioning and elevation. By assigning a cost per length unit in the cost section the price will automatically be recalculated if you reposition equipment or modify connections etc. The length of each connection is visible when you select it and changes in real time if you edit it.
The Connection Profile module enables a 2D profile- or side-view of how a selected connection follows the seabed and allows you to get a better understanding of the connection elevation changes if Bathymetry data is loaded for the project.
When a connection is selected you can move your mouse sideways to move the indicator along the connection profile display. It will then display the actual depth in meters at that specific point. You will also see a circular visual indicator move along the connection in 2D or 3D stage view at the same time to indicate the exact position the sample readout.
By defining an elevation threshold value this module allows you to quickly pinpoint problem areas visually for the connection as it follows the seabed.
Designated users are system administrators that allows them to invite new users and set their access privileges and project rights in an easy to use interface. New users will receive an invitation via email and token based authentication via cellphone or email. Access Users gets access to the company account only and have the rights to open every project therein. To be able to edit a project created by another user you have to copy the project first.
Enterprise Authentication options available for Azure AD, On Premise AD, OAuth 2.0, or Google Identity. All data traffic and endpoints are encrypted with SSL.
